A yearbook of botanical and horticultural bibliography (Vols. 1–2); A journal of botanical history (Vols. 3+). ISSN 0073-4071.
The Institute's scholarly journal of botanical history, Huntia, publishes articles on all aspects of the history of botany, including exploration, art, literature, biography, iconography and bibliography. The journal is published irregularly in one or more numbers per volume of approximately 200 pages by Hunt Institute. External contributions to Huntia are welcomed. Page charges have been eliminated. All manuscripts are subject to external peer review. Please review the Guidelines for Contributors PDF before submitting manuscripts for consideration. Beginning with volume 17, the journal is published only online and in color. Beginning with volume 18, the journal no longer accepts books for review or announcement. All back issues are available as PDFs. Please note that the PDFs for volumes 1–10 were created by scanning the original print versions and are not searchable. The PDFs for volumes 11+ were generated from the digital originals and are fully searchable in Adobe Acrobat.
