Letters from Ferdinand von Mueller to Ralph Tate in Adelaide about the South Australian flora (including Northern Territory), especially Kangaroo Island; specimens received by Mueller from F.A.H. Kempe, J.G.O. Tepper, Mt Oliver, William A. Tietkens, Amalia Dietrich and others; the compilation of Tate's census of the S.A. flora; Mueller's projected new edition of the flora of Australia; Mueller's acquisition of the Sonder herbarium; and general botanical matters.
