Introductory essay, "Florilegia : a brief history" by Christopher Mills, Librarian, Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew; List of contributing artists at end of vol. 2 includes artists from Australia, Canada, Japan and United States of America. Six Australian artists: Beverly Allen (plates 2, 105); Fiona McKinnon (plate 37); Anne O'Connor (plates 1, 59); John Pastoriza-Pinol (plate 99); Jenny Phillips (plates 5, 34, 74); Jennifer Wilkinson (plate 104).

Printed by stochastic lithography on 245 gsm American Cotton paper for the colour plates and on 175 gsm Somerset Bookwove text paper; half-bound in red goatskin with marbled paper boards; sprinkled edges; hand finished with gold leaf tooling on spine; text set in Fairbank and Bembo Book types; accompanied by handmade green felt book cover with maroon felt ties.
