Part V, under the title Resultados botánicos de la expedición de Sessé y Mociño (1787-1803), appeared as p. 1-5 in Logros y perspectivas del conocimiento de los recursos vegetales de México... (S. Guevara et al., eds.) in 1995. Part VI appeared in the Boletín del Instituto de Botánica, vol. 6, núm. 1, 9 de octubre de 1998.
