The Victorian Flora Database contains the scientific names, common names, families and conservation status of Victoria's 4,500 vascular plant species. Included is the grid distribution data for most of these species taken from the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources' Flora Information System. This data can be plotted on 11 map overlays. There is at least one photograph for about 1100 species and descriptive text for about 600 species.
