Collection comprises letters written to Rica Erickson in Perth about the identification, distribution and history of Stylidiaceae and about general botanical and family matters. Included are copies of pages from Erickson's notebook listing (with summary) all letters received from Willis: notebook on observations on birds and insects: letters to Erickson from Ronald Melville (1 letter, 1955), A. C. Beauglehole (1 letter, 1955), Ian Willis (2 letters 1987-8; 3 letters, 2000, including draft entry for Australian dictionary of biography for Rupert Allen Willis {brother of J. H. Willis}), Mavis Willis (3 letters, 1996-8): biographical articles on J. H. Willis; letter of donation. Also present are copies of 81 of the letters.
