Victoria Archaeological Survey (Corporate Name)

The Victoria Archaeological Survey came into existence in March 1973. It was originally known as the Archaeological and Aboriginal Relics Office and was contained within the Chief Sectretary's Department. In December 1975 it was transferred to the Ministry for Conservation.
