Associated meetings were the 7th Australasian Bryophyte Workshop (4-9 October) and the 2nd Orchid Conservation Forum (25-27 September). Sponsors and participating associations include include the University of Melbourne School of Botany, the Australian Systematic Botany Society, The Australasian Mycological Society, the Royal Botanic Gardens, Melbourne, and the Society of Australian Systematic Biologists.
